Ortus Foundation Sponsored a Conference at The Banbury Center

Ortus Foundation sponsored a multi-day conference held at The Banbury Center, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. Ortus Foundation was amongst an esteemed group of thought leaders and practitioners discussing issues and recommendations for developing an ethical framework for the use of psychedelics in therapy, pending the anticipated near-term approval by the FDA. Issues discussed included concerns from Indigenous Nations regarding cultural appropriation, state and federal policy reform, and creating standards of care and accreditation for psychedelic practitioners.

A policy paper of recommendations will be published soon in a leading publication and will be posted when available.
