Marcy Madigan

Marceline (Marcy) Madigan is Program Director at the Ortus Foundation, where she helps strengthen cross-sector partnerships that connect national expertise with regional priorities in support of youth mental health and suicide prevention across the Intermountain West. She collaborates with regional leaders and national organizations to identify emerging needs, foster collaborative partnerships, and translate evidence-informed practices into meaningful action for frontier and rural communities. Her work brings together leaders across education, healthcare, philanthropy, government, and nonprofit sectors to build sustainable systems that improve outcomes for young people.

A first-generation Filipino American, Marcy holds a bachelor’s degree in the History of Art from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in Education. She has worked alongside K–12 students and families since 2009. Before joining Ortus, Marcy founded Madigan Tutoring Services in the Lake Travis, Texas, school district, where she partnered with families to support early literacy and mathematics for young learners. She also founded her community’s Second Sundays outdoor playgroup, inspired by the 1,000 Hours Outside movement, creating opportunities for families to build meaningful connections through nature.

Marcy also brings a personal perspective to her work as the mother of Olive Ann, whose journey as a neurodivergent child has deepened her appreciation for early intervention, inclusive systems, and family-centered care. She lives outside of Austin, Texas, where she and Olive Ann enjoy spending time with friends and being active in their supportive community.
