Dr. Dustin Brown

Dr. Dustin Brown serves as the Regional Director of the Ortus Foundation, where he develops and implements partnership-driven, evidence-informed strategies for youth mental health programming in schools and communities. His key strategic work focuses on fostering sustainable regional infrastructure for youth wellbeing in the Intermountain West states.

Dustin brings nearly 20 years experience in clinical operations, behavioral health and public policy to his role at Ortus. He spent the past six years bridging the gap between healthcare and K-12 education, spearheading numerous school and community-based health initiatives. He has secured $81 million in federal grants supporting mental health and literacy initiatives, underscoring his deep commitment to expanding community access and dismantling stigmas surrounding behavioral health.

Dustin holds a Doctorate in healthcare administration from Oklahoma State University and a Masters in healthcare management from Trident University. He is a retired Air Force Captain and recognized fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Dustin is an active member of his community in Cheyenne (WY), where he lives with his wife and four children.
